Harrison Ford Brands Trump the 'Biggest Criminal in History': "Everything He Says Is a Lie"

Harrison Ford Brands Trump the 'Biggest Criminal in History': "Everything He Says Is a Lie" Friday World-January 9, 2026
83-year-old Hollywood legend Harrison Ford has launched one of the sharpest attacks on American politics in recent memory, branding Donald Trump as “the biggest criminal I have ever seen in history.” The statement comes at a time when concerns over Trump’s policies and rhetoric are rapidly growing worldwide, just weeks into his second term.

Harrison Ford, globally renowned for iconic roles in *Indiana Jones, Star Wars, and *Blade Runner*, did not hold back in a recent interview:

“I have never seen a bigger criminal in history than Trump. Everything he says is a lie. He has no real policy, no vision. He is only making money while the whole world heads toward hell.”

Ford went on to accuse Trump of deeply dividing American society during his first four-year term:

“He turned us against each other. Neighbors against neighbors, family members against family members. This country is not the same anymore. We need a president who talks about unity again, not hate and division.”

Rising Criticism Amid Trump’s Return

With Trump back in power, his familiar style of communication has resurfaced immediately. Social media outbursts, uncertainty in foreign policy, and questionable economic promises are once again under intense scrutiny. Analysts believe that open criticism from influential figures like Ford could pose a fresh challenge to the new administration.

Ford’s remarks are more than personal anger — they symbolize the growing discontent within Hollywood and America’s liberal intellectual circles. Over the past few years, major names such as Robert De Niro, Meryl Streep, George Clooney, and now Harrison Ford have repeatedly targeted Trump. But Ford’s direct label of Trump as “the biggest criminal in history” takes the criticism to a completely new level.

Does Trump Have No Policy?** The harshest part of Ford’s attack focuses on what he calls Trump’s “complete lack of policy”:

“Trump has no genuine policy. He only runs a show. He exploits the media, plays with people’s emotions, but when it comes to actual policies, he stands empty-handed. He is busy only making money and boosting his brand value, while climate crisis, international relations, and economic inequality continue to worsen.”

Ford also claimed that America’s global standing has declined under Trump:

“The world no longer takes us seriously. We have become a joke.”

Deepening Division in American Society Even at 83, Ford’s voice carries the same intensity and clarity that made him a screen icon:

“I have seen a lot in life, but I have never witnessed so much hate and so many lies. Trump kept us fighting each other for four years. Now it’s time we come together again. We need a leader who speaks of love, understanding, and unity.”

This statement arrives at a moment when political polarization in the United States has reached its peak. On one side, Trump supporters hail him as the man who will “make America great again.” On the other, critics view him as a danger to democracy. When celebrities like Ford speak out so boldly, it further exposes and deepens this divide.

Is This the Beginning of a Larger Resistance? Harrison Ford’s words are not just the opinion of one actor — they reflect the feelings of a large section of American society. The real question now is:

Will these voices have any impact on the Trump administration, or will they provoke an even more aggressive response?
Whatever the outcome, one of the greatest heroes of the silver screen has directly challenged one of the most controversial presidents in history. And this challenge, it seems, has only just begun.
