The Boomerang Effect of Throwing Stones in Others' Homes: America's Internal Instability, Failure of Foreign Interference in Iran, and Trump's Global Disgrace

The Boomerang Effect of Throwing Stones in Others' Homes: America's Internal Instability, Failure of Foreign Interference in Iran, and Trump's Global Disgrace
Friday World January 9, 2026
In today's global politics, hegemony and interventionist policies have become frequent subjects of debate. Superpowers like the United States repeatedly interfere in the internal affairs of other nations to serve their own interests, but such attempts often return like a boomerang and strike back at the intervenor itself. Recent events — massive anti-Trump protests across the United States, chaos resulting from American interference in Venezuela, the complete failure of foreign intelligence agencies' attempts in Iran, and worldwide outrage against Trump's 'terrorist' actions — serve as living proof of this reality.

Anti-Trump Protests in America: A Horrific Incident and Its Consequences Donald Trump's name will forever remain controversial in American history. Following his return to power after the 2024 election, widespread protests against Trump erupted across various states. Thousands of people took to the streets in major cities such as New York, Washington D.C., and California. The primary reasons for these demonstrations are Trump's controversial policies — harsh immigration laws, aggressive foreign policy stance, and internal security-related controversies.

During these protests, a shocking incident occurred when a security guard shot a female demonstrator at point-blank range. The event took place in Washington D.C., where protesters were marching toward Capitol Hill. The woman was peacefully protesting, yet she lost her life. This incident shook the entire nation and intensified the demonstrations even further. Videos of the shooting went viral on social media, with people openly labeling the Trump administration as 'terrorist'. The episode reminds many of the January 6, 2021 Capitol attack, but this time the violence was directed against the protesters.

As a result of these widespread demonstrations, large-scale shutdowns and anarchy have spread across the United States. Curfews have been imposed in many cities, and economic losses have reached billions of dollars. This situation clearly symbolizes that when you throw stones into someone else's house, they eventually come back and hit your own home.

American Interference in Venezuela: Burning Your Own Hands in Petrol Fire Venezuela has always been a primary target of U.S. foreign policy. During the Trump administration, broad sanctions were imposed and opposition leader Juan Guaidó was openly supported in an attempt to seize control over Venezuela's oil resources. This led to massive protests in Venezuela, where petrol and other inflammable materials were used to set fires. However, the intervention devastated Venezuela's economy and forced the United States to face strong international condemnation.

In 2025–2026, protests in Venezuela have once again intensified, with people directly blaming American sanctions for the severe economic crisis. The U.S. tried to capture Venezuela's oil wealth, but this only deepened anti-American sentiment among the Venezuelan people. This is a clear example that when you set fire to someone else's house, that fire eventually reaches your own doorstep. The current anti-Trump protests inside America are increasingly being seen as a direct consequence of such interventions in Venezuela.

Failure of Foreign Intelligence Agencies in Iran: The Game of Dollars and Propaganda Recent developments in Iran represent the biggest example of the failure of foreign interference. Intelligence agencies like the American CIA, Israeli Mossad, and British MI6 made extensive efforts to incite protests against the Iranian government. These included distributing dollars to bring people onto the streets. Additionally, Reza Pahlavi — son of Iran's former Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi — was actively involved in these attempts.

Reza Pahlavi recently appealed to the Iranian people to rise against the government, but this call completely failed. Hardly any people came out onto the streets. The entire effort ended in utter disgrace and embarrassment. The Iranian public clearly rejected foreign interference and defended their national sovereignty. This incident proves that foreign conspiracies do not always succeed and often become a source of humiliation for countries like the United States.

Trump's 'Terrorist' Actions and Global Backlash Donald Trump's foreign policies are repeatedly described as 'terrorist' in nature. During his tenure, the assassination of Iranian General Qasem Soleimani, imposition of sanctions on Venezuela, and interventions in various other countries triggered widespread global outrage. In 2026, anti-Trump protests have become even more intense worldwide. People have taken to the streets across Europe, Asia, and Latin America, while mainstream and social media continue to troll and criticize Trump heavily.

Hashtags such as #TrumpTerrorist have gone viral on social media platforms. As a result, Trump is facing massive international disgrace and embarrassment. These protests are also reflecting strongly inside the United States, where the country is grappling with widespread shutdowns and anarchy.

Conclusion: The Outcome of Interventionist Policies and the Lesson All these events clearly demonstrate that policies of foreign interference ultimately boomerang and strike back at the interfering nation itself. The fire that America lit in Venezuela and Iran is now spreading inside its own house. The anti-Trump protests and global backlash serve as living evidence of this reality. The world must move toward a multipolar order where no country interferes in the sovereignty of another. Only through such mutual respect can global peace and stability be truly achieved.
