Global Backlash Against Trump's Iran Policy: American Streets Erupt, Senate Defeat, Britain's Warning

Global Backlash Against Trump's Iran Policy: American Streets Erupt, Senate Defeat, Britain's Warning
-Friday World March 4, 2026
In a world already burning with the flames of conflict, U.S. President Donald Trump's aggressive policy of strikes against Iran has not only destabilized the Middle East — it has ignited a storm inside the United States itself.

Recent polls reveal that 59% of Americans oppose Trump's attacks on Iran. In the U.S. Senate, a War Powers Resolution vote went against Trump: 52 votes against vs. **only 47 in favor

. British Prime Minister Keir Starmer stated clearly: “We will not repeat the mistakes of Iraq.” Despite Trump's repeated appeals, no meaningful international support has materialized.

American citizens have taken to the streets in massive numbers, and even much of the mainstream media is now abandoning Trump. Is all of this a deliberate distraction orchestrated by Trump, Netanyahu, and figures tied to the Epstein scandals — using Iran as a pawn to divert attention from domestic scandals?

Let us examine the full picture.

→American Public Opposition: The Polling Reality

Trump's administration has framed the Iran strikes as part of the “war on terror,” but the American people are not convinced. According to a recent CNN poll, 59% of Americans oppose U.S. military action against Iran

A Reuters/Ipsos survey showed only 27% support, while 43% strongly disapprove. Most respondents believe Trump's policy dramatically increases the risk of a prolonged, costly military entanglement — making “America First” feel increasingly hollow to ordinary citizens. This opposition is not limited to numbers. Protests have erupted across the United States —

from Washington D.C. to New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and beyond.

Thousands chant “No War on Iran!” and demand that Congress reclaim its constitutional war powers.

Women, students, veterans, and military families are leading the marches, terrified that another endless war will claim American lives. The recent deaths of **six U.S. service members** in Iranian retaliatory strikes have only fueled the outrage.

→ Senate Defeat: 52 vs 47 — A Major Blow to Trump

In a significant setback, the U.S. Senate voted 52–47 in favor of a War Powers Resolution challenging Trump's unauthorized military actions against Iran.

The resolution asserts that Trump launched strikes without congressional approval — rendering them unconstitutional.

Democratic Senators Tim Kaine and Chuck Schumer declared: “The President has dragged us into war without the consent of Congress.” Even some Republican senators broke ranks, arguing there is no clear endgame or strategic plan behind the attacks.

This vote echoes the lessons of the Iraq War, where bypassing Congress led to a decades-long disaster.

The Senate is now forcing Trump to seek explicit authorization for any further escalation

— potentially putting serious brakes on his Iran policy.

→ Britain's Stark Warning: “We Will Not Repeat Iraq”

Despite Trump's public calls for allies to join, international backing remains absent. British Prime Minister Keir Starmer was blunt: “We will not repeat the mistakes of Iraq. The UK was not involved in the initial strikes on Iran and will not participate in offensive operations.” He emphasized that Britain would limit itself to defensive actions (e.g., intercepting missiles) and warned that military action without a clear legal basis and thoughtful strategy is dangerously reckless.

Other European leaders are keeping their distance:

French President Emmanuel Macron stated: “We were neither informed nor involved.” Germany called for restraint and de-escalation. UN Secretary-General António Guterres condemned the strikes, warning they threaten international peace and security.

Trump's “America First” approach has left the United States increasingly isolated on the global stage.

→ Media Turning Away: Trump's Reality Exposed

Early coverage from some outlets praised Trump's “bold action,” but the tone has shifted dramatically.

The Washington Post and The New York Times have repeatedly questioned Trump's constantly changing justifications:

First Iran was the “world's leading state sponsor of terror,” then a “nuclear threat,” now suddenly regime change is on the table.

Reports highlight the absence of any coherent long-term strategy — suggesting the strikes may be more about domestic political distraction than genuine security.

CNN, NBC, and other networks have aired multiple interviews with Trump, but his answers have been vague and contradictory. Media coverage is now linking the Iran escalation directly to Trump's domestic scandals — especially the Epstein files where his name reportedly appears tens of thousands of times amid allegations of involvement in exploitation of underage girls.

→ Epstein Criminal Network & the Distraction Theory

Many analysts believe Trump, Netanyahu, and figures connected to the Epstein scandals are using Iran as a convenient pawn to divert attention from explosive domestic issues. On February 24, 2026, NPR revealed that the Justice Department had withheld dozens of pages from the Epstein files directly related to Trump.

Just four days later — on February 28 — the U.S. and Israel launched major strikes on Iran. The timing is highly suspicious.

Trump's falling approval ratings, Supreme Court rulings against his tariff policies, controversial ICE operations — all appear to be buried under the fog of war.

Netanyahu faces his own corruption trials in Israel.

An attack on Iran conveniently casts him as a “strong national leader” at a moment of personal political crisis.

Connections between Trump, Netanyahu, and the broader Epstein criminal network are well-documented and widely discussed.

Is regime-change rhetoric in Iran primarily a shield to protect powerful individuals from accountability?

→Global Consequences: Instability & Humanitarian Catastrophe Trump's Iran policy has pushed the Middle East to the brink of full-scale regional war. Iran's retaliatory strikes have already killed American troops.

Oil prices are skyrocketing, threatening the global economy.

The United Nations warns that escalation could cost millions of civilian lives. With ongoing conflicts in Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria — many involving Iranian proxies — further war risks catastrophic regional spillover.

Americans are exhausted by “forever wars.” Trump once harshly criticized the endless conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan — yet now he appears to be walking the exact same path.

→ Call for Peace Trump's Iran policy is not only misguided — it is profoundly dangerous.

59% public opposition, Senate defeat (52–47), Britain's refusal, zero major international allies, mass street protests, and abandonment by much of the media

are ringing alarm bells.

The attempt to distract from Epstein-related scandals and domestic failures will not last forever.

The world needs peace, not more war. Trump and Netanyahu must reverse course — or history will remember them as architects of unnecessary bloodshed.

This is the moment to speak truth. Attacking Iran solves nothing — it only births new tragedies.

The voice of the American people must be heard:

No More Wars!”
