Russia-China Stand Firmly with Iran: Shocking Condemnation of Khamenei's Assassination Shakes the World – Heavy Repercussions Looming for the US and Israel!-Friday World – 1st March 2026
The barbaric attack in Tehran has pushed global tensions to the boiling point. Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has been confirmed martyred (killed) in a joint US-Israeli airstrike. The 86-year-old powerful leader's death has now been openly branded by Russia and China as an outright "assassination" and a grave violation of international law. Russian President Vladimir Putin has strongly condemned it as a "cynical violation of all norms of human morality and international law," while China's Foreign Ministry has called it "a serious violation of Iran's sovereignty and security, trampling on the UN Charter and basic norms of international relations." Both superpowers have urgently called for an immediate halt to military actions and efforts to preserve regional peace.

Russian President Putin, in a message to Iran's leadership, stated: "The assassination of Khamenei is a condemnable act that crosses all ethical and legal boundaries. In Russia, he will be remembered as a great statesman who elevated Russia-Iran relations to a strategic partnership." Putin made it clear that this attack is not just on Iran but on the entire global order. Russia has long maintained deep military and economic ties with Iran, and this event could bring the two nations even closer together.

On the other hand, China delivered a sharp response as well. A spokesperson for China's Foreign Ministry declared: "The attack on Iran's Supreme Leader and his killing is a grave violation of Iran's sovereignty and security. This is an open breach of the principles of the UN Charter and the fundamental norms of international relations. China firmly opposes and strongly condemns this. We call for the immediate cessation of military operations, preventing further escalation of tensions, and joint efforts to maintain peace and stability in the Middle East and the world." China has strengthened its ties with Iran through the Belt and Road Initiative and energy trade, and this condemnation sends a powerful message against the US-Israel alliance.

This incident is now turning global politics in a dramatic new direction. Experts believe that direct attacks on any country's president, prime minister, or supreme leader will no longer be easy. This sets a dangerous precedent where even top leaders are no longer safe. Iran has already launched missile strikes on US bases and Israel, with explosions reported in multiple areas, and support from Russia and China has made the situation far more complex. The flames of war in the Middle East could ignite fully, raising fears of a potential World War III.

The direct impact on the United States and Israel is inevitable. Condemnations from nuclear-armed powers like Russia and China will increase pressure on Western nations. Debates could intensify at the United Nations, where Russia and China may introduce resolutions against the US and Israel. Iran's new leadership (potentially involving Mojtaba Khamenei or an interim council) will now receive stronger backing from Russia and China, potentially shifting the regional balance of power.

This moment is being written in dark letters on the pages of history. The assassination of one leader has not only shaken Iran but challenged the entire global power structure. Russia and China's support for Iran signals the strengthening of a multipolar world order. Will this revenge turn into a regional war? Or will peace efforts succeed? The world's eyes are fixed on Tehran, Moscow, and Beijing.

Iran declares: "Revenge is our right!" – and Russia-China stand with them. What happens in the coming days will be fascinating to watch.
