Tensions in the Middle East have reached a boiling point. In the nuclear dispute between the United States and Iran, Russia has issued a direct warning to America, widely seen as a significant blow on the global stage. 

 Trump's Ultimatum: U.S. President Donald Trump has given Iran a strict 10-to-15-day window to agree to a new nuclear deal. He stated, "If no deal is made, really bad things will happen!" This ultimatum, issued in February 2026, demands that Iran abandon its nuclear program, halt its missile development, and sever ties with proxy groups. 

 U.S. Military Buildup: America has dramatically increased its military presence in the Middle East to an unprecedented level. The world's largest aircraft carrier, USS Gerald R. Ford, and USS Abraham Lincoln have both been deployed to the region. These two carrier strike groups are supported by dozens of destroyers, F/A-18 and F-35C fighter jets, AWACS surveillance aircraft, and refueling tankers. Satellite images show USS Abraham Lincoln positioned just 700 km from Iran's coast in the Sea of Oman, while the Ford is advancing from the Mediterranean. 

 Russia's Explosive Warning: Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has clearly stated that any new U.S. strike on Iran would bring "serious consequences" and amount to "playing with fire." Russia highlighted that previous attacks risked nuclear incidents, and repeating them could severely destabilize the region. Moscow is openly supporting Iran and urging all parties to exercise restraint. 

 Joint Naval Drills: Following Russia's warning, Iran and Russia launched joint naval exercises in the Gulf of Oman and northern Indian Ocean starting February 19, 2026. These drills involve Iran's Alvand destroyer, missile launchers, fighter jets, and Russian combat teams. Operations include scenarios for freeing hijacked ships. This is viewed as both symbolic and strategically significant, especially near the critical Strait of Hormuz. 

 China's Support: China has backed Russia's stance and issued statements against escalating tensions. Reports indicate ongoing joint drills involving China, Russia, and Iran (Maritime Security Belt 2026), challenging the global power balance. 

 Global Impact and Risks: Amid these developments, oil prices are rising because 20-30% of the world's oil passes through the Strait of Hormuz. A single misstep could trigger a worldwide crisis—Iran has threatened attacks on U.S. bases, while America prepares for further strikes. 

This situation is decisive for world politics. Russia's warning has delivered a major setback to Trump's strategy. Every moment now counts—hopes rest on diplomacy prevailing, but military preparations indicate the risk of war remains extremely high!
