Iran's Bold Move: Press TV Launches Hebrew-Language Service, Taking Tehran's Voice Directly Into Israeli Homes

Iran's Bold Move: Press TV Launches Hebrew-Language Service, Taking Tehran's Voice Directly Into Israeli Homes
Tehran, December 3 – In a major escalation of the information war against Israel, Iran has unveiled a powerful new weapon. Its state-funded international broadcaster, Press TV, has officially launched a dedicated Hebrew-language service aimed at speaking directly to the Israeli public in their own language.

The new outlet, branded “Press TV Hebrew,” is designed to reach millions of Hebrew-speaking Jews in Israel, Palestine, and across the diaspora with Tehran’s perspective on regional and global events.

The service will feature:

- Breaking news from the Middle East, with Iran’s viewpoint on the Gaza, Lebanon, and wider regional conflicts

 - In-depth analysis of Israeli domestic politics

 - Iranian interpretations of major international developments

Announcing the launch, Press TV’s Managing Director stated:

“Now the Israeli public will no longer hear only the one-sided propaganda of Western and Israeli media; they will also hear the other side of the truth. By speaking in Hebrew, we will reach their hearts and minds directly.”

The timing is strategic. The launch comes amid unprecedented anti-government protests in Israel following the Gaza war, with widespread public anger directed at the Netanyahu administration. Analysts believe Iran intends to exploit this domestic discontent and widen existing divisions within Israeli society.

The Hebrew service already has an active website and social media presence. Among its first featured stories are:

 - Reports highlighting the humanitarian crisis in Gaza

 - Coverage emphasizing Hezbollah’s military strength

 - Analyses dismissing Israeli concerns over Iran’s nuclear program

Israel immediately condemned the move, labeling it “a new weapon of propaganda” and announcing plans to block the service within the country. However, the channel remains easily accessible inside Israel via VPNs and satellite broadcasts.

Iran has been unambiguous about its intentions, declaring:

“We are delivering the truth straight into the enemy’s home — in their own language.”
